Christmas Market in La Marsa: the programme for the weekend of 19 and 20 December

Practical information to remember

The Les Souks Christmas Market takes place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2026, from 10 am, at Coffice Coworking Space, in Les Pins 2, La Marsa. It is the time to prepare your end-of-year gifts in a festive atmosphere, with Tunisian makers presenting their own pieces.

You can come alone, as a couple, with friends or with family. The programme has been designed so that everyone finds something they like, including the youngest.

The maker stands

This is the heart of the event. Makers set up their stands and welcome you directly. You will find home decor, fashion and accessories, body care and perfumes, as well as fine food products. The main appeal is talking to the person who made the piece: they explain the materials, how to look after it, what is handmade.

Take the time to do a first round without buying anything. You spot what you like, you compare, then you go back to the stand that caught your attention. Pieces are often in limited quantities, so if an object really struck you, do not count on a second visit.

The Kids Club for children

Children have their own space. The Kids Club offers creative, cooking and play workshops. While they make, cook or play, adults can browse the stands in peace, without having to watch every step. It is probably the part of the programme that will do the most good to parents who hate shopping with bored little ones.

The drinks bar and mini-food

A drinks and mini-food bar is set up on site. It lets you take a break between two stands, grab a bite if lunchtime is approaching and catch up with friends over a drink. As the market lasts two days and starts at 10 am, you can easily spend the morning there and stay into the afternoon.

The DJ Christmas set

Music accompanies your visit with a DJ Christmas set. It sets the tone of the season without getting in the way of conversation with exhibitors. If you like markets where you can chat as much as wander, you will be well served.

Networking and socialising

The market is also a place to meet people. Makers talk to each other, visitors discover brands they have sometimes followed for a long time on social media, and the professionals present can make contacts. A coworking space lends itself well to these conversations, which often carry on long after the purchase.

Buy on site, or online during the two days

The pieces presented on site are also sold online during the two days of the event. Did you fall for an object but do not want to carry it around all day? You can order it from the shop and have it delivered to your home. Delivery takes 24 to 72 hours anywhere in Tunisia, it is free from 300 DT, and cash on delivery is available. If you are unsure about a gift, the team can advise you by WhatsApp.

How to plan your visit

  • Come with an idea of the budget for each person you are buying for, which stops you getting carried away at the first stand.
  • Note down the names and tastes of the people you want to please, it is easier in front of the stalls.
  • Keep a little room in your bag and in your schedule: you will spend more time than you expected.
  • If you come with children, sign them up for the Kids Club as soon as you arrive to enjoy the workshops.

And after Christmas?

Les Souks Festifs do not stop in December. The next date is the Ramadan Souk, from 20 to 22 February 2027 in La Marsa, from 8:30 pm to midnight. If you like the spirit of makers' markets, note the dates now.

The programme details, the makers attending and up-to-date information are all on the page for the Christmas Market 2026, to be consulted before choosing your time to visit.
