Why exhibit at the Les Souks Christmas Market in La Marsa

Two days in front of customers who come to buy

The Les Souks Christmas Market takes place on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2026, from 10 am, at Coffice Coworking Space, in Les Pins 2, La Marsa. If you make cushions, jewellery, body care or delicatessen products, these two days put you in front of visitors who are looking for gifts and who like to touch, smell or taste before they pay.

A stand has an advantage that a screen does not: you tell the story of your work in person. Someone hesitates between two colours, you explain how the piece was made, and the decision is often taken at that moment. It is also a chance to get frank reactions, questions you would never have received by message and ideas for your next collection.

An atmosphere that keeps visitors around

The event offers a lot more than rows of tables. The programme includes maker stands, a drinks and mini-food bar, a DJ Christmas set, a Kids Club with creative, cooking and play workshops for children, and a time for networking and socialising. Parents can come as a family and wander without rushing.

This makes a big difference for an exhibitor. A visitor who stays two hours looks at more stands than one who is just passing, and happily returns to the one that made an impression after a coffee or after collecting the children from the workshop. The venue, a coworking space, also brings together self-employed people who know how hard it is to launch a project: they are often receptive to other makers' work.

A single offer, the Box at 800 DT

Les Souks has chosen simplicity. There is one offer, the Box, at 800 DT, at the same price for everyone. Whether you are an established brand or presenting your first collection, you pay the same and get the same terms.

The location of each stand is assigned on site by the event manager, based on the venue plan. So you do not choose your spot in advance. This avoids negotiations and lets exhibitors be spread out sensibly across the space. Just make sure to prepare a stand that is easy to set up and looks appealing wherever it ends up.

Selling online during the event too

The pieces you show on site are also sold online during the two days. A customer who liked your product but did not have her wallet, or a relative who could not come, can order afterwards from the shop. For this period, the commission on online sales is reduced to 15%, instead of the usual 20%.

Delivery is handled within 24 to 72 hours anywhere in Tunisia, with cash on delivery available. So you do not have to manage shipping yourself on the day of the event, and online purchases do not depend on the queue in front of your stand.

How to apply

The application is made online, on the page Exhibit. You present your activity, the team reviews your application and replies. Once your participation is confirmed, you prepare your stand, and your location is given to you on arrival.

The clearer your presentation, the easier it will be to answer. Say what you make and with which materials, and include a few sharp photos of your pieces.

Preparing a stand that sells

A few habits make the difference on the day:

  • display prices legibly, as many visitors do not dare to ask;
  • include small pieces that are easy to give as gifts, next to your flagship products;
  • keep gift wrapping materials at hand, which reassures last-minute buyers;
  • have the name of your online shop ready, so that everyone can find you after the event;
  • leave some space on the table, as an overloaded stand puts people off.

Also plan how to stay on your feet for two full days, with water and something to eat. If you are on your own, ask a friend or relative to cover for you during the lunch break.

For brands that want more visibility

Sponsorship packs are available for brands that want to go further. The Silver pack is 2,000 DT. The Gold pack, at 4,000 DT, includes two free stands and a prime spot at the entrance. They are aimed more at companies that want to link their name to the event than at makers who are just starting out, for whom the Box is more than enough.

And then?

A one-off market gives the best results when it is part of a more lasting presence. If you do not yet have an online shop, signing up on the marketplace is free for makers and commission is only taken on sales. This way you can keep selling once the stands have come down.
